Our Curriculum Structure

Each lesson contains the following three parts:

Learn about the culture note at the beginning of each lesson to expand your knowledge of Japan. Such as 1. How to make a good first-impression in Japan; 2. Festivals and celebrations in Japan; 3. Tips for a business trip to Japan; 4. Tips for a leisure trip to Japan; etc
Learn practical conversation skills and speak with confidence.
Acquire essential grammatical rules to construct correct sentences.


The following JAM five-step study method is used in our classroom:

Step 1 Listening Listen to the target conversation, from both of recording and the teacher. The target conversation shows you what you will be able to say in Japanese after completing the lesson.

Step 2 Practice First practice the correct pronunciation of vocabulary, followed by speaking full sentences which contain the target vocabulary.

Step 3 Expression

The expression part present handy, frequently-used expressions. Role-play is used during classroom practice so that learners can apply them in everyday life.

Step 4 Review

Review what you have learned so far. A thorough recalling process at the end of lesson helps to re-enforce the language points learned in each lesson.

Step 5 Active communication Try use the language points you have learned in your daily life, or allocate a minimum of 15 minutes to do a quick review thoughout the week.
